On March 2, 2024 the Snow Pirates team hosted the first ever BOMBS AWAY at Ruby Hill Railyard in Denver, Colorado. BOMBS AWAY is a Snow Pirates Co. branded event - a free community snowboard jam and competition consisting of a community jam for all riders and a men's and women's advanced rider competition.
Once approved by the City of Denver, Snow Pirates owner Zach Jacobs and team manager Will Goshgarian worked along side Ruby Hill's Cameron Lawrence to design and re-build the park with some exciting features for BOMBS AWAY, some of which have never before been seen at Ruby Hill Railyard.
Over 150 snowboarders registered (for free) for either the community jam or the advanced riders competition, and it was a hell of day. Blessed with spring conditions and a fucking cool community, BOMBS AWAY: Ruby Hill was one for the books.
